Product Overview

The 5.56x45mm is a standardized service rifle cartridge for NATO forces as well as many non-NATO countries.  Based on the design of the Remmington .223, the 5.56 was selected as the second standard NATO rifle cartridge for its performance in fire rate, accuracy, and reliability.

The 55 grain 5.56 will leave a 20 inch barrel to reach a velocity of 3,260 feet per second.
